I just began working on mine today and whattya know..it does not have any freaking programs on it!!!
You must 'make it your's' and update lot's of stuff.
The one I bought was from 2005 and nothing was updated since, so read my comment next to find out what best to do when you buy used.
I expected from the first review that is it "was packed with useful programs!"
You do not need to buy certain programs but trust me, it will NOT BE LOADED. -- When you buy a used computer...

It came within days of ordering and I have been extremely happy with the speed and ease of use, however the R did fall off a few days ago but no biggie, obviously I can still use it! -- I was very happy

Good to have if you're just starting out in college. Has the basic Microsoft 2003 office programs, along with some other goodies. It's been alot more than I expected it to be. Very good price for an awesome computer. -- Great computer
